Badminton

Agility, skills, stamina, strategies and teamwork—these are the common terms associated with Badminton. It is a sport that trains pupils to adapt to different situations, process information on the spot and react immediately. To play well, one must be disciplined and focused. As a team tournament, badminton competitions also require players to exhibit esprit de corps, putting aside one’s preference of play and style for the sake of the whole team.

Our school aims to promote a healthy lifestyle through this fun-filled sport, as well as all-rounded development for every student -- be it physical, mental or in character-building. Members are given opportunities to gain leadership skills and experience, competitive platforms to excel, and specially-designed training program to develop resilience and team spirit. With the members training hard together and encouraging one another to improve, it also enhances social interaction across levels.

Indeed, it is one of the most widely-played sports in BTPS, be it during recess time or CCA sessions.
